Although I haven't owned one, I can offer another perspective.  I judged the 
'62 - '67  B-bodies "restified" class at the Van Nuys Spring Fling for several 
years, saw quite a few of their cars.

Often, they had just been completed, and that pretty much gave them a lock to 
score in top three.  Our club's scoring allows for a "kicker" point for any 
subjective angle, it was my habit to always give that extra point to cars guys 
built in their garages.  Despite that, you had to score what the cars 
deserved, and more often than not, Mosher cars took first.  Hard to beat cubic 
dollars.  I'm not down on 
bought-cars, I don't have the mechanic's gene myself, have done only 20% of 
the work on my '65 Coronet 500. 

I never rode in a Mosher car, don't know an owner, but they looked well-built 
to me.  I looked underneath, etc., it all looked like solid work.

Perhaps we will hear from some owners.
