New cable, so I'm sure it's the head(mine AND the car's!). Yes, it's a 
PAIN to get the cluster out as I have my tach, oil pressure, & water 
temp guages all clustered on the column, 70's style. I've had it out a 
few times before, so I'm gettin' used to it.
