Thanks for the thoughts, that helped.

Build by a 30-year builder with own shop, mostly a Mopar shop (his '70 
Roadrunner does 9.10@149, no nitrous or boost).

Am using 111 octane, but have mixed with california's awful 91 octane with 
ethanol to some extent.

Yes, I have the late-model truck starter already.

I'm beginning to think losing current someplace, will have shop check it out.
