FWIW 2 and 4 wheel drive BB trucks in the "sweptline years had different oil pans and exhaust manifolds. The the later (72-78) years the big block trucks had the same manifolds for 2 and 4 wheel drive. Reason being is the sweptline trucks in 2wd config has a straight axle, and the trucks sat low enough to cause possible interference with the oil pan and exhaust. Do not confuse these "truck" engines with say mid to late 70's motorhome big blocks as those engines are pretty much the same deal as a pass car engine.
