I looked that system up at Jegs and it's made by "Proform". That is a good middle of the road product name and that looks like a heck of a deal for that system. That looks like a lot of carb for a cast iron intake. Between that carb and the spacer there is sudden stop for air and fuel at the top of that intake. Is the intake ported? I would highly recommend a Performer RPM with that carb set at the factory settings.

No, it was a system made for Jegs, I don't remember the name. It came 
with distributor, harness, control box, and ballast resister for around 
$140. You think maybe something could be faulty in it?
