Nope.  The '68 rear bolted in like it was made for it.  I only checked 
the spring perch distance, which was spot on--44", if I remember right.
I am running 235/70/15's on police wheels, with plenty of clearance.  
The springs are new, though.  I think the tires look way too big, but 
they were on there when I bought the car.
Mine has the 10" drums, but I don't think it matters, as far as 
clearance.
