I was driving the kids Wrangler the other day and the throttle hung  open  A  
couple of stabs and it released.  Then began "pinging"  heavily.  Problem  
cleared up and everything was fine.  Next day heavy  pinging started and then  
began to miss.  Engine died and had to have it  towed home.  I discovered the  
ignition key I hid in the air cleaner was  gone................
$176.43 valve job.  Lesson learned.    Joe
