The vertigate is a neat shifter. It is great for racing and street driving.
When I had a four speed car I had one and loved it. It is a straight inline
shifter and has a short throw. If I ever go back to a four speed, that will
be the first thing I buy for it.

Sounds like a pretty all out racing rachet shifter. Perhaps making
somethings inconvenient for the street? Wouldn't know exactly, I've never
had a rachet.

Hey guys,

has anyone heard of a 4 speed shifter called a "veritgate" or
something like that? Its by Mr. Gasket, and apparently has no
side-to-side movement. You push down for 1-2 and up for 3-4. Just
curious about it and how it drives, since I've never seen or even
heard of such a thing.

Thanks!
