Those 9.25" Spicers are pretty strong. They were standard equipment in the
mid/late 70's big block cop cars and I had one in my 2000 5.9 Durango. I was
considering converting to one in the Belvedere, but with the work involved
in narrowing the C body rear I had vs the strength of the 8.75, I didn't do
it. I should check the Durango width. Also, looking at it, my 03 Grand
Cherokee looks like a 9.25. I'll have to check the build sheet. The 9.25's have a
12 bolt rear cover and do look a lot like a Dana 60. Joe
