Most that I have seen (all in fact) dnt even have the bosses for the holes, where one could drill and tap. A friend of mine has a 67 Coronet, 440 powered, runs 12.20's on slicks uncorked. S/S springs, slightly altered wheel base, 430 geared 8.75, runs a 1.67 60 foot time with no pinion snubber. he built his springs using the technical specs from an old DC bulletin. The same could be done for a D60. Some ford trucks, (late 60's early 70's) have Dana 60 five lug axles with ford std 5 on 5.5 bolt circle. Rod Hall off road trucks ( real race units)had D60's front and rear, with five lugs, but I dont know the bolt circle. A panhard rod or 4 link could be utilized to replace the pinion snubber. Caltracs would work as well. There is nothing like the feeling of security you get with a D60 out back. Doc.
