My Dodge is strictly tilt and seems similar to GM cars I remember from years ago.... I really didn't realize the car had the tilt until I "discovered" after I bought the car. -----Original Message----- From: bschleic57@xxxxxxx [mailto:bschleic57@xxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2006 6:07 AM To: 1962to1965mopars@ Subject: Re: 1964 Chrysler tilt? T or F Just tilt? or tilt and telescope? I think Imperials had them.... -----Original Message----- From: dan.watts@xxxxxxxxxxx To: 1962to1965mopars@ Sent: Thu, 5 Oct 2006 12:40 AM Subject: RE: 1964 Chrysler tilt? T or F Hi Gary, I'm not sure about "Chrysler", but my 1964 Dodge Custom 880 HTSW, has a tilt wheel along with two A/C's, etc. It has the "normal" Custom 880 steering wheel as opposed to the optional "50th Anniversary Wheel". My '64 Newport Wagon on the other hand starts with a three-on-the-floor standard transmission and goes no where from there. Danny W. -----Original Message----- From: Gary H. A fellow with a 1964 wrote me this: "This 1964 Chrysler also has the round steering wheel with a tilt column. I am told that the tilt column option in 1964 was rare because Chrysler did not make a tilt column in 1964 and these units are actually GM columns." Thoughts?
