I have asked this before with no answer, but with the topic of today being "Nope !, they never made it!", maybe someone will chime in. My ORIGINAL (as in "Back in the day" for real) Fury convertible (1963) had a three speed floor shift...maxwedge exhaust and a single 4 barrel on a 383 that had been "worked on" by the Petty engineering bunch...when I bought it (used) it had 2300 miles or so on the clock...obviously the car was not stock completely, but the side trim was a single spear of stainless...Belvedere in other words, not Fury. There was no sign of filling of holes, etc. in the side trim area...but IT WAS A CONVERTIBLE... and they didn't make Belvedere 'verts... was it possible to dealer order the side trim different from "stock" ? Bill Watson are you listening ? I have had countless arguements with the "experts" and they have all thought me nuts...until the old picture of a young college age kid next to a red Fury (you can see the badge) convertible with a single spear trim down the side is passed around......then they say something stupid like "is that your son ?" and walk off........ Bob Fortson ( did I say 63 Fury Vert ? and I have the Belvedere trim in a box............) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
