Re: Poly wanna 4 bbl!

Hi Bill,
There was one on a engine out at our local salvage yard I saw a couple of month ago. I can buzz out there and see if it's still there this weekend if you're interested. The price would be very reasonable. The carburetor would be a Carter AFB that would have been on it (the carb is gone on this particular engine)

Subject: Poly wanna 4 bbl!

Does anyone out there have a factory cast iron, single 4-bbl Poly 318
manifold they want to sell? Or how about a Weiand single 4 aluminum
one? Or anyone know where to buy a new Weiand anymore?

Also, I know they stopped the 4 bbl's on 318 Poly's in 62. So what
would be the carb used on those motors? Again, anyone got one they
want to get rid of? Or what would be a good 'vintage looking' 4 bbl to
put on it?

My 65 318 is bone stock, and I thought it would be nice to add a
'factory' 4 bbl setup to pep it up a little.

Thanks in advance!
