RE: brake lights problems



OK Neal, Now what did you buy? (probably for next to nothing knowing you 
lol) As a few members already said the problem may be in the turn signal 
switch. When you put on the turn signal it disconnects the brake light 
from that side of the car and reconnects it when the lever returns to 
center. Make sure you have power to both sides of the brake light fuse 
and to both sides of the brake light switch with the pedal depressed. If 
you do and the rear turn signals work then the problem is most likely in 
turn signal switch.
