Paul, Permatex makes several colors of gasket sealant, all usable on anything but each one is designed for certain applications. Besides blue, red, and black, they make 'ultra copper' which I've found is an extremely good sealant. They make it in a tube (for like valve covers, water pumps, oil pans, etc.) and they also make a spray for use on head gaskets. The only stuff that's supposedly better is Halomar sealant, but it's VERY expensive. Bill M 65 Coronet 500 'vert On 12/4/06, Skagdrager@xxxxxxx <Skagdrager@xxxxxxx> wrote:
Hey, Bill. What's Ultra Copper? Haven't have a VC leak in years.
