Well, I don't know what stat is in it since I didn't install it. I'll
have to change it so I know for sure.

When I say a little warmer, I mean 1/8"-1/4" right of vertical in the
gauge. It has not gotten out of the "normal" box on the gauge yet.
Last year it ALWAYS ran just to the right of vertical...that's why I'm
a little concerned.

A thermostat change will get it  lower oif say you have a 190 or 180 stat installed . if it is already a 160 then you can remove the stat and drill a small 1/16th hole in the flat part of the stat and reinstall it. This will lower the temp and also helps thesystem bleed out air better.
