Bill, two things:

1.  These factory gauges vary car to car, and may not be as accurate as 
it once was.

2.  I remember reading somewhere that our old cars used a different temp 
sending unit than the later '60's and up cars, but when you buy a 
replacement, all they now make are the later ones.  They look identical. 
 If this is true, maybe yours was replaced at one time with the newer 
version.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.  I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address.
