IIRC I had to do a little modification on a crossmember when I put a 66-up 727 behind the original poly. I don't recall whether it was the original 65 Coronet or a later crossmember or really remember the mod. Still have the crossmember.

Does anyone know if the 66 up 727 requires trans mount/cross memberfabrication when installed in a 62-65 B body (stock K member). Or basicallywhat problems would I have doing this, not to include linkage as I have a later column installed and would use a floor shifter. Thanks in advance.
