RE: Button safety? Racers?




WOw, I'd like to see a picture of that setup.
You know, that pushbutton deal is a little hard to get used to.
I have shifted with my right hand all my driving life, and I spend a lot of time sitting in my street after backing out... trying to figger out how to go forward. But I like it.

No answers so I guess I stumped the group. :)

Anyway, the gentleman sent me more information that may ignite some
dormant brain cell memories in someone:

"It looks like a small piece of channel about 3 inches with a cover that
covers the PNR and first(which is drive) buttons so you have to lift up
the cover to use those buttons."

Anyone recall seeing this back in the '60s?
