Wiper Stuff

We went to the local Friday night cruise @ Lowes in Abingdon, MD and
got caught in a little bit of rain. I hit my wipers several times but
after about the 3rd time, the pass side failed to 'park' fully and
stays up on the windshield a little bit. It also won't go all the way
down w/ a light nudge. Did something break or slip? What do i need to
check first?
