Re: Mild 318 Poly Hop-up

Bill,
600-650 AFB Carter/Edelbrock carb or the AVS style; same look but more $ and tunability w/ the AVS. The cam I would recommend for hot street and the ability to grow would be the 264/.450" 222@ .050".

I FINALLY located a stock 4bbl intake that didn't cost me my right
arm, so I need some suggestions. What carb should I be looking for?
AFB? AVS? I'd like to get a vintage or vintage looking unit so it
appears fairly original. The motor is also going to stay stock for
right now (other than the 4bbl swap) but I want to put a mild cam in
eventually. Any ideas or thoughts?
