Re: synvrs normal.

I had a convertor and transmission built by Frank Lupo's Dynamic for behind a 340 I'm putting in a 65 Dart wagon. They said to use Dextron III, which is what they used when they tested the trans. I'm wondering if I should continue to use the Dextron or can I switch to the Mobil?

Don D., on your advice, I filled my bone-dry 727 completely with Mobil 1
ATF. I am very glad to have done so. However, you recommend sythetic
Mobil 1 in the trans, but not the engine. Why? I'm sure this is apples
and oranges. Does it have to do with the fact that there is no
combustion going on in the trans? I also filled my bone-dry power
steering pump and box with Mobil 1 ATF. Did I err?

Thanks,

Sean
