Re: Imperial Services

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the reply. That's what I kinda figured is that the instructions were omitted. Hopefully I can get ahold of them and get a copy. After looking at the kit again today, I'm guessing the spring is going to go for the detent on the shifter as the selector lever in the kit is much shorter than the original and therefore wouldn't have enough leverage. I'll wait to find out for sure as I have the new transmission already assembled and don't want to take the valve body back out unless I have to.

I don't know the answer for the spring included for the throttle
pressure linkage, but FYI, the Imperial Services catalog I have (an
older one) says the kit comes with "complete illustrated instructions,"
so I assume they goofed in not sending the instructions.

Thanks,
Gary H.

the shifter kit. According to the listing on the web site, there is a
spring included for the throttle pressure linkage and I'm curious to
where that is installed. The rest I can probably figure out but it would
be nice to talk to someone who had installed one of these set ups
before. Maybe they just forgot to include instructions, I've tried
calling a couple times now and only get a busy signal. Thanks.
