Lee,

I have removed the anodizing from the grill of my 65 to repair and polish 
a couple of years ago. I feared the possibility of constant polishing to
keep 
it nice. It has only required that I polish it once a year to keep it
looking nice. 
I use Mothers, and some stuff I bought at Spring Fling - can't remember the 
name - came in a blue and red tube - so it has been a non issue for me. I do

live in a dry climate. Might be different in a moist climate.

Now, what are you going to do with the aluminum trim after the anodizing is
gone? Wont the weather corrode it? I understand the polish to make it
shiney, but what about long term protection? Clear paint? Wax? I'm curious
about how this trim will last now. ( I have the same cloudy problem on some
of my aluminum.)
