RE: 1962 filler tube O ring (was RE: Gas Tank Help Fixed)



The 1962 and 1963 cars use an 'O' ring that goes on the inside of the 
filler neck opening of the fuel tank. 

The original part number for the 'O' ring was 1730087 -- long since an 
obsolete number.

If we can find the specs for that 'O' ring I can post it for a reference 
for people to use to find in a hardware store a proper size 'O' ring 
that works in this application.
