Dan, Thanks! I thought there to be a differance. Yes, the car is a '64, but someone in it's past, must of swapped the rear end as well as the Tranny. There was no nut that had to be loosened. I know the rear is a 489 housing, but haven't looked at the #'s in a while so don't know what year it might be. It does have what looks to be a home made pinion snubber too. The tranny is the same thing. Haven't looked at the #'s in a while, but do believe it to be a '65 727 pushbutton. I get the #'s and sort out exactly what is under there.
