The auto carb is setup with hookup for the auto trans kickdown (throttle
press) linkage. Thats the main difference. Ron

Subject: Carb question
I'm wondering what the difference is between a Carter AVS carb for an
automatic car as opposed to one for a manual trans car.
primary jetting perhaps?
(both carbs are off 69 440's)
Also, it's been many years since I changed carbs on this car and I dont
remember if the 1/4 inch
thick fiber gasket was a regular thing or something I added back then, and
are they still available?
Thanx for any info
Jake
