4 speed hump



Galen decoded my car for the previous owner and his report shows that it 
was a factory 426 street wedge with a 4 speed.  One of the things that 
always amazed me is the crude hole in the floor above the transmission.  
It looks like someone at the factory took a torch and blew a hole in the 
hump in the floorboard, and then welded on the 4 speed hump.  Is that 
typical of a factory 4 speed installation?  It sure looks crappy.  
BTW....The previous owner did replace some of the floorboards, but not 
in that area above the transmission....Brian
