Thats good info as I dont have the 63 Dodge book but I do have the Ply book and it says 1196 total 1963 Ply Maxie's were built. So thats 962 Dodge's and 1196 Plymouth's. A grand total of 2158 ! I have to wonder how many were bought as street cars and how many never saw the street and were just raced ? Ron ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Altemose" <jaltemoose@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi Robert, Depends if it's a Stage I (Ramcharger) or Stage II (Ramcharger A). According to Darrel Davis, there were this many Polara 500's: Stage I: 96 2DR HT 28 Convert 124 Total Onyx BB-1 paint code: 37 Stage II: 7 2DR HT 0 Convert 7 Total Onyx BB-1 paint code: 2 FYI, including the 330, 330, Polara and Polara 500, there were 962 Maxies of both flavors for 1963. This is including the single 330 Wagon. Wonder where that is? On a personal note, I'm the proud owner of what looks like the only Ivory Stage II Polara 500. Of course, it's in need of a total restore and not running and with a couple of 3 and 7 year old boys and what seems like 10 minutes per week to work on it, I'm figuring I'll be old and gray before I can enjoy it. But it's my delusions that keep me going. - Jim '63 Polara 500 (Max Wedge), '65 Belvedere I (Street Wedge), '71 Bronco On Nov 19, 2007 8:10 PM, Robert (UK) <r.lane@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote:My brother has the 63 Dodge & Plymouth books, I'll get him to have a look.
