Re: cam lift confusion

multiply rocker ratio by lift at at cam /more then likly 1.5 x .280

My friend has a 360 he wants to put into his '64 Dodge. We put a dial indicator directly on a cam lobe to see what it was. We did it a few times, and the lobe lift was .280". Did we do something wrong?

Thanks,
