Re: cam lift confusion

You must take the lobe lift and multiply it by you rocker
ratio..280 x 1.5 comes out to a .420 lift.

Subject: cam lift confusion

My friend has a 360 he wants to put into his '64 Dodge. We put a dial
indicator directly on a cam lobe to see what it was. We did it a few
times, and the lobe lift was .280". Did we do something wrong?

Thanks,

Sean
