Re: the ole 273



I agree the stock 273 high perf with the High perf, or even better the
d-dart cam in it is a very impressive engine.  The single plane intake
and solid rocker setup, light lower end makes for a very fast rev'ing
car.  They also get very good gas mileage in an a-body with the stock
AFB and a stock dual-point distributor.

My brother's were racing my dart when dad parked it in 86, just before I
started driving.  They were munching on camaro's and other fast cars in
the town just south of us.
