Our car club had its Winter wheels show last weekend (indoors of course). During setup the night before they were concerned about the number of cars. The club president (our local mopar nut) asked if I could get the car down to the show. I was hesitant but got it anyway. Back in early Saturday morning for polish and cleaning windows to get it presentable. It still has the original paint and just flat white over the new primer ( a temporary fix) so not ready for a show by my standards. Still is going to get a repaint next fall. Anyway I was registered in the unrestored class and received 1st place by the car show participants. I knew I had a pretty good chance but still when they called my name it was a surprise. I think I may have to go to the doctor to have the smile removed from my face and the muscle aches taken care of from all of the hand shakes. Even if it is the only trophy I get it will definitely be a memorable one. Just had to share this moment with other mopar lovers.
