Re: 1st trophy

Bravo!
Remember your first always. I got my first on my 21st Birthday, and after my buddies took to out for birthday refreshments the details are a little sketchy to say the least. Man was that a long time ago.
May there be many more in your future.

I have to share this with you guys and gals.

Our car club had its Winter wheels show last weekend (indoors of
course). During setup the night before they were concerned about the
number of cars. The club president (our local mopar nut) asked if I
could get the car down to the show. I was hesitant but got it anyway.
Back in early Saturday morning for polish and cleaning windows to get it
presentable.

It still has the original paint and just flat white over the new primer
( a temporary fix) so not ready for a show by my standards. Still is
going to get a repaint next fall.

Anyway I was registered in the unrestored class and received 1st place
by the car show participants. I knew I had a pretty good chance but
still when they called my name it was a surprise. I think I may have to
go to the doctor to have the smile removed from my face and the muscle
aches taken care of from all of the hand shakes.

Even if it is the only trophy I get it will definitely be a memorable
one.

Just had to share this moment with other mopar lovers.
