There were no 413 M/T's for '65. I have the original AFB off my '65 413 A/T, but it's not within reach at the moment. However what is handy is my shop manual. In the back under specifications for the Fuel System group:
AFB-3859S is listed for 383/413/426 with manual transmission. Primary throttle bore is 1 and 7/16, secondary is 1 and 9/16 Primary venturi is 1 and 3/16, secondary is 1 and 5/16 Main jet primary is 0.089", seconadry is 0.0689". Low speed jet is #65-0.035"Standard step up rods are 16-217, one size lean 16-165, two sizes lean 16-159.
Except for the main jets and metering rods, this carb is spec'd the same as the other four in the manual (3855S, 3856S, 3858S, and 3860S for 383M/T, 383A/T, 413A/T, and 383/413/426A/T respectively). The jetting is the same as the 3860S, of course anybody building for performance will re-jet to tune the thing anyway. So it looks like all '65 AFBs for big blocks are the same CFM. My guess is 625.

Sorry about the mismatched subject on the last send.... -----Original Message-----I found a chart that says 3859 C-4 is from a 1965 383/413/426 with Manual/Transmission.Anyone here have a stock 1965 383/413/426 with a Carter 4bbl? If so, what CFM is it?Thanks, Gary H.-----Original Message-----Sorry about the last email. I keep forgetting I have to convert to plain text.I will try that what Gary suggested, but this is the older style carb with a smaller top. Its like the 273 commando carb and uses a smalled air cleaner base. Im guessing that the butterfly may be smaller too.Dustin----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
