if your positive everything is working, you can feal it lock/unlock etc. once on a 65 coronet, the same thing happened to me. holding the outside door button in while someone else laying in the car gave it a swift kick. it popped right open, it was just stuck. i'd put something over the door panel, where their foot is going to hit and give it a try.
