I used to do that too when I took cars on overnighters, then I got to thinking that if they were "smart" enought to hotwire the car, they just might look under the hood when it didnt start and use a plug wire for the coil and drive off on 7 cylinders?  
I went to hidden quick disconnects for the power instead.> > I just remove the coil wire and put it in my pocket. At least they will > have to push it Dave O
