Hey all, I have run into an issue with my Valiant re-assembly process. I have new lower control arm pivots to go with the poly bushings, and I can't get the locknut on very far before that shaft just starts to spin in its bushing. I'd bet that once the torsion rod is back in place and loaded, the pivot will be firm enough to tighten fully, but I sure don't want to find out it isn't and have to disassemble the thing again. Any hints here would be great help! There is no place to grab onto the pivot shaft - unless it made sense to install it to the K-member before adding the LCA... but then whatever I gripped it with would mar the shaft. thanks Jim Ozolins '64 Valiant - 273 _________________________________________________________________ See what people are saying about Windows Live.
