Re: Hood Clearance

I've run them both on my 62 and 64 Dodge, and didn't have to do any cutting. Just be careful on the carb studs , that they do not come up to high. They will impact your hood and leave a dent!! Been there and done that....

Is anyone running a Max Wedge crossram w/ stock or reproduction air cleaners on an uncut '62 or '63 hood?

I know Chrysler cut the inner support structure out on these hoods for Max Wedge applications but I was wondering if the stock crossram setup will fit without doing so. A similar topic was brought up recently so I know it is close.

Thanks,

Wakeman
