Re: '65 Steering Wheels - New

I've seen their stuff first hand at Carlisle last year and everything was 1st class. My brother has used them many times for stuff on his 70 Cuda and reports that their service is excellent also. Put me down for one of those gold 65 steering wheels.

B/A & E seems like the real deal. As far as repoping stuff, let them know what you've got and he needs to make a determination if there is a market to support the development cost. The steering wheel is an example. He's stated to me that if he can't move enough '65 Steering wheels, if would sour him on other stuff for our '65s. Just plan business decision. He's is working with Jim Kramer who is in spite of the complaints about his service is a pretty good guy. Sharing resources is good form a marketing standpoint.

I did respond to him that I did not know he had the steering wheels so slow sales is hopefully a lack of getting the word out. Now that you know, respond and get them if you need it. There are at least four colors available (ask) and he's working on the A990 "gold" wheel which is really a fawn color.

I see the black and red on their site so far, maybe more colors are coming.
I need a tan one.
Do you know these folks Don? No offense but maybe they could have done more
with those taillight lenses. :(
I have a spare set of Belv1 lenses & a horn ring, NOS, and a really nice
dash pad, think they'd be interested?
I wonder if we all pooled our stash of stuff if we found the right "guy",
could we all help each other out.

btw- I have that ebay clock knob I bought and can send Gary a picture of the
NOS 65 knob, used '64 knob and this one
in case anyone is still looking.

B/E & A has new reproduction steering wheels for our '65 Plymouth and
Dodges. I picked up one there at a Moparts.com party today. It looked
very good. Price is around $250 which beats the restoration prices I
have been told by a lot.

Website is www.beaparts.com, e-mail is mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx and the phone
in Medina, Ohio is 330-725-3990.

I think they are correct for 1966 but I am still checking my 65 and 66
parts manuals for confirmation of that. (No, I don't have any business
interest in B/E & A, just trying to help out the 62-65 guys.)
