I had a 440 in my 1964 Fury with new, Schumacher mounts.  I used an 
Edelbrock Performer intake and a Thermoquad carb.  With a Mr. Gasket 
chrome air cleaner and a short air filter, the wingnut tore through the 
hood insulation pad.
