Re: transmission mount

I used the full 1/2 inches, as my idler arm was making some serious contact before I raised the engine 1/2 inch ( my first attempt at fixing the problem )

 I haven't re-installed the headers yet so I haven't measured anything yet.

I will keep you informed of my progress.

Brian,

Did you need the full 1/2 inch set back or could you have used less.
What is your new clearance with the modification. I used a 1/8 inch shim
under the right mount to get clearance. I'm getting ready to do another
engine swap and those 8 bottom water jacket header bolts alone will put
you in theropy. Milodone said there may be a oil pan clearance issue
with the right front K-frame. The set back may eliminate this issue.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
