I also on my 65 fury did not have to remove glass. Joey is on target.

Hi Mike,
I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I did my 65 with
the front and rear glass out and it seemed easier to me but the this is only
the first one I have ever done. The sides were more interesting to me
because after watching a couple of later 60's cars getting done I thought I
had to stretch mine over the outer edge like those guys did but early cars
do not get stetched over the outside edge, they get tucked straight up the
side on the inside. I would make sure when you remove the old liner that the
teeth on the side hangers are nice and straight, if not you will have a hard
time getting it to latch on tight. Man, I sure hope I explained this right!
