I assume if you went to electronic ign. you also swapped the coil? I had 
this issue last year with a 65 Dart 273. I put in an elec. distributor 
and did the GM HEI swap. It worked great until the engine was warmed up, 
then it would die if you put your foot on the brake, turned on the 
lights, etc...anything that took power. It took me a couple days to 
realize the coil was getting hot and breaking down. An electronic coil 
cured it.
