Yeah, get the right converter. Don Dulmage says talk to Dynamic so that's what I did. Get a fact sheet filled our first. I think I got mine off Dyanmics's website. BTW - my '65 Belvedere has a 440 with a '73 727. I use a B&M ratchet shifter floor mounted and works great. I think Imperial Services can supply a set-up that works with the factory stuff in your '65.
