Again, thanks... We found it was our lack of knowing that we needed to go counterclockwise. Thanks for your help... We will know next time...

Make sure you are trying to turn the oil pump counter clockwise for a big block; clockwise for a small block.

We are trying to prime the engine using the priming shaft and drill. It's not turning.... Any ideas you can give me would be helpful...any other ways to prime the enigine that anyone would recommend? We know the engine turns.... Any thoughts, I would greatly appreciate!!!
