The Hemi block is based (loosely based) on the RB block, but with a row of threaded bosses cast into the valley area for the unique Hemi heads.
The block was also modified for the cross bolted main provision.
That is the main difference between the two.

Maybe someone can help me out. I have a bet with a friend of mine, who says that a 426 bare block is different than a 426 Max Wedge block, I say they are the same block, but with different components in it..Anybody help on this....
