It sounds like you're doing a budget build, so I wouldn't get too 
carried away with displacement unless you were using good after market 
heads, a nice cam and large tube headers. Also, the stock blocks are 
reasonably safe to 600 HP or so. Get your crank counterweights cut down 
to 7.25" when you get the other crank work done. I'd also look to 
440Source to try to find a shelf piston for your needs.

I built a 383/451 that made 476 HP and 497 TQ to the wheels (about 560 
FWHP/570 FWTQ) and still had a bit more tuning left in it.
