Butch, On your paint choice it depends on what kind of look you want in the 
end.This is my personal preference.  Laqure or enamel gives the look I want 
, but is not very durable paint. Most paint jobs these days are 
basecoat-clearcoat. but the finish is not for me, Yes it is super shiney and 
smooth, but that I think is all on the surface. __I do not care for that 
much gloss. Now I have seen BC-CC that did not look that way, but I don't 
know how they did it. I am going to use Urathane  without clearcoat as I 
think (like with enamel or laqure) that the reflective qualities ar deeper 
than the surface...........................................MO
