RE: 273 Rebuild / moth balls in gas

I don't think we want to get into the debate about era's and great cars.
Those that grew up in the 70's will tell the same stories as the guys that grew up in the 60's, 50's etc.
I myself don't remember any great cars of the 80's. That is unless you want to mention the K cars that saved Chrysler, but I think Lee Iacoca saved Chrysler myself.
Cars I wish I had back......48 Chevy Coupe, 49 Ford Coupe, 54 Olds 88, 56 Ford Crown Vic, 56 Chevy panel, 64 GTO 389 tripower 4 spd Convertible, 60 Pontiac Bonneville 389 4 brl Covert with a 3 speed on the floor from the factory, 58 Chevy Convet with 3 speed on the floor, 66 Bonneville Convert and last but most important; my 65 Coronet 440 4 speed with a 426 street wedge. The car I hated the most was my 59 Impala because I wanted a 56 Chevy with the new 283 with the 3 on the floor and got talked out of it my my parents banker who had a teller with a cherry 59 Impala for sale that blew up 20 miles from the bank.
Didn't know then that I could have voided the sale.
Oh....how I hated that Car and Banker....
